I have officially released my new series inspired by my time in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, back in August 2019. All 7 original abstract paintings are on canvas and they are ready to hang. I am planning to release several more pieces before I complete this series.
For these first few paintings, I am particularly excited about all of the texture, which is new for me. The blue paintings have a stucco-like texture with sparkly 3D embellishments on each surface. The white backgrounds of the lava flow paintings are brushed with a subtle sparkly blue pearl that only show up under the light.
For my next round of paintings, I want to continue with the lava/ocean flow theme, but I plan to spray the backgrounds instead with teal, white, or black. This will present a more metal-like, smooth surface, as opposed to textured brush strokes.
Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information about a piece. I also posted the new paintings to my store at the button below.
Thank you to all of my followers, and “HI” to you if you are new to my blog!
